I had a Bushnell Banner 3-9x40 with BDC 'cams' it was OK.. I did not like to TURN a cam to shoot.. and it seemed iffy.. I then sold it.. I then bought the Bushnell 4-12x40 XLT Trophy 600 DOA for $170.. which has markings on the RETICLE for 100-500 yards and the bottom is 600 yards.. (like the Nikon BDC model pretty much) So far it seems MUCH better then the previous one.. The 600 DOA has a list of ammo for it.. all different HOT loads.. most 308 ammo is in the 2900+ FPS range in various GR.. Hornady 150SST, 110TAP.. anything with ZING should match the reticle.. still testing out on my Saiga 308 with 21" barrel.. I will check back in when I go out again to test the new ZINGY ammo I bought for $30/box.. :P Al

My bank of america car was hacked on Wed afternoon at 3pm for $160.86.. >:( Needless to say I hot-carded the card and got a new one Friday when BOA was open here.. still sucks.. now I have to wait a few days for the CREDIT from BOA to appear back.. They (the PC place the scammer used) shipped a pkg to NJ but would not give me the address.. (I live in NJ also..) they did NOT use the CVV code on the back so PC Connection (the online store where charge was made) is liable I guess.. I am still swoll over it.. I got front/rear sites for the incoming 308 DPMS.. from Midway on Saturday.. $15 off orders over $100 was pretty appealing to me.. Al

What Troy MRF is that??? did it come with a DPMS 308 sized barrel nut?? Looks VERY sweet.. <thumbsup> What do they mean 'dremel a small notch for the gas tube to pass thru'?? Doesn't the barrel nut have holes all the way around for it go thru?? got any pics of that part of the install?? Looking to go same direction with my incoming 16" DPMS w/A3 top..

Heres an update.. got the Quick Detach in today.. New Rail and Red Dot, holds on GREAT onto my 'test' rail setup.. No loosness, positive locking.. Bottom of QD rail to bottom of 'scope tube' is 1 1/2".. Can't wait for the rifle and the other goodies.. Hopefully all parts will be in by next Thursday. Al

I ordered the 2 mags from RifleGear.Com for $28 each.. they are limited to 15 rounds for NJ regulations.. and since I shoot mostly in NJ it made sense.. I got the DPMS AR10 Miculek 'Brake' also for that same reason.. just got to PIN it on.. takes about 10mins to PIN & tack weld over the PIN.. The 2 factory mags are 19 rounders and I will more than likely BLOCK/PIN them also.. though I may not and just leave them in PA when I go to NJ to shoot.. The better news is the dealer just swapped the Collapsible stock for an A2 which will help when I travel to NJ to shoot on occasion.. (No collapsibles allowed in NJ) .. all for FREE and on a Sunday before shipping it out to me.. woo hoo.. Al

Anyone ever seen one like this.. ?? I just bought it for $1025 shipped. :) Its got a gas block w/pic rail that is LOWER than the HG (like an RRA Varmit) Its a 16" and not 18" and was upgraded with the A3 flat top. <thumbsup> What do you all think?? good deal or not?? Albert
