Ok, I give, I need one...
Battle Arms Dev replied to Madhouse's topic in Battle Arms Development - Terminated
As mentioned earlier, reversing the levers on both sides works much better with the 45 degree selector. Full sized, standard levers work well, as they provide lots of leverage, and since the levers don't point down at all, their thickness and length don't become a hindrance :D -

I'm not sure how I'd take to the lever reversed on one side but not the other, as I imagine when I switch shooting sides I might get confused and not remember which orientation is on which side lol. -

Reversing the levers orientation works best with a 45 degree selector, on a receiver without selector stops. On a 90 degree, it's kind of strange :) 45 degree with the levers reversed 90 degree with the levers reversed -

The fully modular aspect of the selector benefits from continued development of levers and new centers. The current 45 and 90 levers are interchangeable, the CASS-3P, M16 and the upcoming CASS-3P, SA (semi auto) levers are interchangeable. When we have new levers, users can swap out either side without buying a new selector kit :) Under the lever exchange program, this is done for free. regardless how long you've had your existing levers. There is no artificial time frame in which the levers can be exchanged, I do believe this is a first, I can't think of a product or company with such a liberal policy on exchanging used part for new, without expiration date or cost :D -

Brownells only sells the selector in the 2 lever kit (standard and short lever), this is the most popular configuration, as the standard lever is great for the thumb side, and the short lever is the best trigger finger side lever :) Please email me if you'd like to try other levers, this is covered under the free lever exchange program ;) -

For the kind folks here that have more than a few ARs for which they'd like to outfit with our selectors, please know we have group buy prices. Typically, group buy price is 10% off with free shipping, the unit number is set at 10. Don't tell everybody, we bend these rules all the time ;) -

LT and Battle Arms have a good relationship, we're honored they think well enough of our selectors to use it in their video :) -

Thank you LaRue Tactical for featuring our selector on their awesome rifle :D

Thank you! Very few people have. We've known that some might. Speaking from personal experience, going from a single lever selector to an ambi, the gap is noticeable with any AR ambi selector because there is none with the single lever selector. The extra stand off distance is actually, albeit unintentionally, helpful, as it pushes the levers out a bit more and provides a bit more usable leverage :)

With the CASS-3P family selectors, M16 and the upcoming semi auto, the selector center will protrude a tiny more than the current semi auto 45 and 90 degree selectors. The reason is the female dovetail interface is on the tip of the selector center, and there must be enough clearance to ensure the male dovetail interface, which is on the bottom of the CASS-3P lever, does not come in contact with the receiver, or bind when there's debris between the lever and the receiver. The selector center must be sufficiently long to accommodate various receiver thicknesses from different manufacturers. If Colt made all the receivers, we'd be able to make ours more form fitting, alas the thicknesses are all over the place, making compatibility a serious issue we must address. That the levers do not sit flush with the receiver isn't necessarily a drawback. Levers that protrude further out have the effect of extending their usable purchase. On the flip side, the trigger finger side lever can pinch your hand while it's being rotated from Safe to Fire, but in our experience, even when the gap is very small, pinching can still take place. It is then quite unavoidable, and the gap isn't the culprit, the 90 degree legacy throw is responsible for that. One might argue that such gap doesn't exist for SIG, HK, FN, etc., this may be true, but remember these manufacturers do not have dozens of other companies making receivers for them, all with slightly different dimensions :P
