Well, name is Dave, been on earth for 50 years now. Always been in to guns, pistols, competition, archery, hunting, etc. AR's have always been a passion, have built over a dozen, currently own a few lol, new to the .308 world.....have several 5.56's, 6.8's, etc. Site looks good, should be fun. I will plan a complete build at some point, as I get time, so looking foward to what everyone has to to say and to learn...

Ha, yea i know, i've got a bunch of 5.56's, and now 3 6.8's, have the P308 and think i'm going to have to do the 458 SOCOM next, or the Beowulf or something, haven't decided the 6.8 above has the ARP upper with all the lastest specs, lower is spikes, parts are RRA with NM 2 stage trigger...

i've been reading for awhile, and posted up my POF in the POF section, but will be making some noise in the other areas also, good forum

Been looking at 308 AR's for awhile and what to get, have another POF in 6.8, shoots great, so decided on a P308 with 16" barrel. Have all different kinds of scopes, but wanted to try the Bushnell Elite 6500 due to its compact size because i'm probably going to strap this on my back for hunting Oryx (Gemsbok) here in New Mexico if I draw. Also swapped the stocks and put on the Magpul PRS as I liike the adjustability. Here are a few pics and love reading the forum, just need to get some time out and do some groups with it, too busy, have a couple of other AR's that I build that I haven't shot either, going to be busy day breaking in AR's when I get the time:
