The 590A1 SPX has a 20 inch barrel. The 930 SPX has an 18.5 inch barrel. Its a 5 shot mag tube with a Choate 3 rd extension tube, thats weak as hell. They always come cockeyed. I use Nordic extensions, there bullet proof. Instead of a complete tube that screws on to the mag tube end. The Nordic has an oversized nut that goes on to the mag tube, than you can use 1 of 5 different lenth tubes, and an extended end cap!! So you can have +2,+3,+4,+5rds and the end cap.

I think it's a little over $500.00 in parts. Most of the time, people will bring me their Mossbergs, tell me what they want, ill run some ideas around. Maybe show them some finished builds, let them pick and choose. I charge them just about wholesale on parts, and 3.5 hours laber at $60.00 per hour. Guns get 250 rds breakin after build, then gone threw and polished and cleaned, about 4hrs of total work, plus 250rds of birdshot. Guns come with 2 targets, 1 30 yard with 3 riffled slugs, 1 30 yards with OO buck. Plus I offer custom porting and back boring barrels. I will be starting a custom Mossberg 930 SPX on 5/5/12 and will be going WILD on this build, put up pics when starting, and threw out build. Thanks

And wont let any thing go out our doors, less than perfect! We supply local PD and SWAT guys with gear and support. So when lives are at stake, there's no room for second place...Unforgiven, hope this helps, we can go with pickatiny rail and optics, but not an LPA rear ghostring, due to front sights not talll enough. I mean I could install the front M16 style LPA, but will require soidering the old off and new on. $$$$ I would do a funtion upgtade, and put those parts listed on. Well I started with an 590A1 SPX, which is the most $$ Mossy 590A1 to begin with. It really depends on what your trying to do, and what you want really. I also do Ceracoat ceramic gun metal coatings in house. Like I said mild to WILD!! This is one of my custom builds. It started out as a 590A1 SPX. I put a Blackhawk Knoxx recoiless stock, mounted an ATI 5 shot shell carrier to the six position stock. Vang Comp oversized safty, a must have on any home defence, combat shotgun. S&J follower, best on the market, designed by and built in Canada by an retired UK Special Forces member. Built from a solid billet block of Delron polymer, with a guide tail that keeps the mag spring from kinking even when spinning. Delron is a self lubricating polymer that can be run dry. It has channels down the sides to let debree go by without stoppage. And its bright orange for optical inspection of mag well, plus has a nipple for non optical inspection, just rub your index finger across it. WOLF XP mag spring, must have for positive feeding in all temps and all climates. Mako tri rail forend with Streamlight TLR-1s light. Galco battle sling for the 590 Mossy. I live in Florida, and maybe you guys didnt notice what happened in Katrina. Dead friggin boddies were floating down flooded streets, cops all covered in mud crying on street corners! May not be ZOMBIES but armed people with nothing to loose and starving is nothing to play with!! You would not beleive how fragile our systems are, you go home to ac and running water, you go to the store and get food, you order a pizza...ALL GONE IN LESS THAN 24hrs, dial 911 to find your phone is down, or a recording saying the 911 emergency line is overloaded, please go to the evacuation areas posted in your community...lol hope your not bleeding out or having chest pains!! Cause your DEAD IF SO!!

That center of uranus BRADY, OOOhhhh I got shot by some fruitcake, and now all guns and people who own them are criminals...bullpoopy, Our gun shop supplies our local PD, and I have never heard of one gun getting up off a table and shooting someone!!!! Ohhh I have that Voodo case 36inch double riffle, are gun shop sells um, best case ive ever used. Works great for my 590A1 SPX, like a glove!! Plus backpack straps and real ones ta boot!!

A Just put a Vang Comp Safty on it. What has happened is the safty sets on a plate with a ball bearing and spring underneath it. Held in bye a cheap plastic push in plug, you have to use a slot screw driver and tap the slot to form a screw head on the plug. Then remove your trigger pack, hold the nut like thing the plug is in. and lefty loosey it out. The Vang Safty I put on all my custom builds has an allen head screw that replaces that cheap pressed in plug. The problem is the safties sticking in the on positsion, no big deal. Need help drop me a line, can walk u threw it.

Gallery of Guns just got some in, not sure which stock was on it, think I saw both. Its a little more pricey, but u get a lifetime replacement warrenty.

Thanx Robocop, I have never had a 22lr till this year. Never had a use, till ammo went threw the roof. I bought a Ruger Mark III 22/45 earlier this year. Put all Volquartsen trigger kit and a C-more red dot. Abd shortly after shooting for about ten minuts, I realized I was smiling like a kid on X-mas morning. It was fun Dam fun. Then I was mad for just a min, thinking of missing out for the last 30 years. So after watching TAC-TV with Larry Vickors, a commercial comes on with what looks like Seal Team 6 making an assalt on something??? but carring These MP5-SD's and A5's 22lr. I was sold. And yes im still smiling!!

Well I had to have one!!!Lol And so I ordered one to our gun shop here in Saint Petersburg, FL. The only problem was finding one, looked everywhere! Finally found a whole bunch on Davidson's Gallery Of Guns. Received it yesterday, cleaned it than took to range this morning!! Awesome FUN, weapon works as good as any MP5 ive ever shot. I used to break in new barrels for the DEA guys in Orlando back in the early 1990's. Wish this one was a class 3, how cool would that be, a full auto you could fire all day and not have to miss a morgage payment!!Lol But really, this hums threw 25rd mags really fast, even in semi auto only. Well built peace of kit! Built buy Carl Walther Germany, Imported by Umarex, and everything in the box is Labeled H&K even the cardboard box it comes in, just like the real MP5, and MP7s from H&K!! Cant wait till gator season, im putting a C-More RTS red dot on it, and watch out aligators! If your thinkin of gettin a 22lr for fun, children, or tact training. Give this one a try, I promise you wont be dissapointed!!!

More bad news, after cleaning my new P220 Compacts barrel, only after 3 mags ran threw it by Sig. I noticed huge cuts 3/16 of an inch from muzzle, where the riffling came out the barrel after only 3 mags!! There sending me a new barrel, no problem, they said after sending photos. This is gettin friggin rediculus! Plus I am waiting for an new P220 Carry Elite SS. At least this gun is assembled by the master smith, 2 month wait. These are built like they used to build everything. Now volume is the key, so techs assemble, then they go to the custom shop for inspection. And some get missed, and make it out to the public. This 220R Elite is a replacement for my P238 nightmere. I wont discuss the added cost for this upgrade or what they gave me for my P238, but they took good care of me. Dam they all know me in CS!!lol The reason why the 516 has improved so dramaticly is really simple, MIL-SPEC STANDARDS! Plus they just had to pass a millitary tourcher test, which they passed with flying colors. Wish they still had high quality handguns for less then $1200.00. If your gonna buy Sig, stick to the classic models,P220, P229,P226, or P232. You run less risk of failure. Just my honest opinion.

I have 12 Sig pistols, 10 of which were bought between 1988 to 1994. That said I bought an P238 380 auto two years ago, one of the first guns in our area. You know a BLUE BOX, these they use before they actually put them in there line up for serious production. Then you get a box thats black and has cut outs for the weapon and mag. I started shooting this P238 after cleaning, at about 200 rds I started seeing uneven breechface wear. So I called Sig, and they sent me a return label. #1 trip back to SIG. Received gun back, Sig replaced the slide, barrel, guide rod, recoil spring, and mag. After 100rds more threw it I noticed the sights were canted all the way to the right of dovetails.#2 I decidded to ship back, to have sights realigned. because MGW doesnt make a sight pusher yet for the P238. I also had a TruGlo fiber optic front sight put on and ordered 2 7 round extended mags. Received gun back, shot 200 more threw it, now the front of the frame rails lost all there Nitride finish and became inpregnated. Called Sig and said NO WAY less than 500rds, and its coming apart at the seems!Lol #3 Shipped back to Sig, this time an upper manager handled my case. He said lets just get you a new model, what do you want? I had a two tone SS slide alluminum frame. We settled on an P238HD all SS. When I received the gun the slide wouldnt stay back unless an empty mag was left in it, as soon as you hit the mag release button, the slide slammed into battery. RIGHT OUT THE BOX!! So I called Sig, they said send it back, I said let me take it to a friend who is a ex F-14 Tomcat mechanic for 7 years, worked as a machinest at Lockeed Martin for 20 years. He put the frame and slide under alternate light source with 100x to 250x magnification. We could see chatter marks all over the slide made here in the US. He told me this is caused by 1 of 2 things, 1 the part moved in the CNC machine, he said not likely. 2nd DULL BITS ON CNC MACHINE, he told me you only get so many hours before bits need to be swapped, new ones aligned, old resharpened or thrown out. He said a 6 axis machine, a good one he said could be 2 to 5 thousand dollars for new bits, on the large factory sized units. The problen SS is very hard, and even harder on CNC bits. I also was told this gun never went to Sigs custom shop for inspection before coming to me. So #4 sent back this one before even 1 shot threw it. Also complained about fit of take down pin. They received it and checked it out, said theres nothing wrong with it. So went out to fathers propperty to shoot this thing finnally. After 50rds, last shot fired slide locked back. Removed old empty mag, inserted fresh one, turned the gun over on its left side to sling shot the slide forward when...it moves about 6mm forward and stops. So I bang the mag base plate twice hard, tilt gun back on left and re sling shot the slide. Thats when the take down pin falls out the gun into the grass for the next 1/2 hour. So I sent it back for a different model all together. This brings us to the 2nd gun just this month, a P220 Compact SAO. Only one issue on this 1000 dollar gun, you open it up, remove barrel, theres 2 1/2 inch bare marks on the inside of the slide. Sig said thats where there bench holds the slide while be coated. And because its SS no worries. EXCEPT IT LOOKS LIKE A 4 YEAR OLD PAINTED IT WITH A CAN OF KRYLON!!!LOL They said thats the way its always bin done, BS , I have a 1994 P229 with stainless slide and everything is coated!!! Thats like buying A Porshe and opening the rear engine lid and seeing a huge unpainted area. And the salesmen says, ahhhh dont worry bout it, its made out aluminum!! After taking 80 grand out your pocket!! NO PRIDE IN WORKMENSHIP, CANT SEE THAT FROM MY HOUSE POLLICEY!! And im a Sig fan, well I guess I used to be!! Alot of police depts have also dumped them for quality control issues and staight up shitty customer service. Build your own AR 308, you will be much happier!!
