I found a reputable class III dealer in my state and asked them to direct me to a lawyer that dealt in gun trusts. He had 2 business cards on hand for lawyers that he recommended and things really couldn't have been any smoother. Word of caution, stay away from dealers that offers to write up the trust for you. I've seen a few stories about the trust's missing the correct verbage and aren't legal resulting in additional delays. Price ranges I've seen vary from $175-$450 $175 & $250 were the Lawyers that my class III dealer recommended $450 was the lawyer that my local forum recommended by a few members

Is Armalite AR10 Lower legal in California?
Goofball310 replied to alfredov's topic in General Discussion
Compatible lowers would be: Aeroprecision Eagle Noveske -
Thanks for the compliments... Well, my impatience ended up getting the best of me and I purchased an Armalite LPK w/ 2 stage trigger from DSG. The parts I ordered from Riflegear I'll just end up throwing in my extra N6 lower or keep for spare parts. DSG has one more LPK if anyone is interested. Also, I've decided to go with a Larue LT112 mount for the scope but before I do, I need to make sure the scope has a 34mm tube and not 35mm.

Little update.... I just ordered 98% percent of the lower parts from riflegear but now I have to try and source a bolt catch and plunger. I know someone had told me I can use a DPMS catch but I noticed from pictures online that the Armalite bolt catch looks a little different. The little finger that sticks out and is activated by the follower looks like it has about 1mm of extra metal below flush, whereas the DPMS is flush. Does anyone have any experience using a DPMS/CMMG/Bushmaster bolt catch in a AR-10? Here's a pic of a Armalite bolt catch: DPMS:

Got bored so I decided to mock everything up. The scope is turning into an issue after an issue. When I first bought the scope the seller told me it had a 30mm tube and were including a set of TPS rings. While the scope was in transit I found a great deal on some US Optics titanium 30mm rings and decided to purchase them for the build. Well, the scope got here and it turns out it has a 34mm tube. Oh we'll, I figure I can use the rings for something else and I can use the TPS rings until I find a suitable replacement. After mocking everything up it turns out the rings are too low and will need to be replaced sooner than expected. Anyways, here is the picture of the mock up and hopefully by next week everything will be permanently assembled.

I don't know if it is determination or being impatient but if I don't find a LPK w/o FCG I'm just going to purchase an Armalite LPK w/ National Match trigger. There seems to be a few vendors that carry that kit and I'll just have to sell the trigger to recoup some of my money back.

Here is another one for tracking ammo

There were a lot of companies that had mags for sale today at prepanic prices. Primary arms had gen 3 pmags no window & gen 2 with with a limit of 2 each, and Del-ton had pmags as well with no purchase limit. A hobbiest like ourselves designed a sight to track down available products at a lot of popular sites.

Thanks fellas! I seen that qd mount on lonewolf's mega maten build on YouTube. I'm just not sure where I want to go with this rifle once I'm done with her. I have another N6 lower and a 16" Noveske barrel with switchblock. If I keep this one then the other parts will end up on the auction block. If I sell this one then all the funds will go into finishing up the other rifle. Keeping both just doesn't seem like an option right now cause there's a special purchase I want to try and make in a few months. :)

I really need an Armalite AR-10 LPK to finish off my build. This is literally the last thing I need to put together my stick. I prefer the LPK w/o trigger and grip but will buy it with if I have to. TIA

That's the company.

I personally don't like DPMS parts at all. I had a AR15 kit that left a lot to be desired. It just seems every where I look I see DPMS or CMMG 308 kits available. I'm able to find Armalite AR-10 lower parts kits but they all come with national match triggers for $225 and I plan on using a Geissele national match trigger and don't want to put out the extra $$$$ if I don't have to. One option is to get the Armalite LPK and sell the trigger or use it while I save up for the Geissele.

I'm building up a Noveske N6 and it's a lot easier to find a DPMS based LPK than a Armalite LPK and was wondering if I have to use a Armalite LPK in my build? Thanks

Would you buy a Noveske N6 lower if the takedown pin and pivot pin were drilled out to 5/16"? I have the chance to buy a new Noveske N6 lower for $300 but I can't find any info on a 5/16" pins anywhere. That's only half the problem because then I would have to drill out an upper to get it to fit. The only other fix is to have the holes filled and redrilled. Part of me is saying pick it up because it such a great deal and the other part is wondering if I want the headache and the chance of having a $300 paperweight. I already have 2 N6 stripped lowers and don't really "NEED" another one but doesn't mean I don't want one.

Link works. You just have to click on the icon that says "Continue to website"

Just an FYI that Armalite has 25rd mags in stock w/ a limit of 2 per household. http://www.armalite.com/ItemForm.aspx?item=10607003&ReturnUrl=Categories.aspx?Category=c70251ef-dba9-4037-a759-b2d36557d12d

SH!T... If you know someone that will drive to Canada I know a company that has bolts and carriers for MSRP. I also know a company that has one BCG in stock but they want $650 for it.
-
It depends on which stock you currently have on your LR308. If you have a collapsible stock then you will need to change the buffer tube, buffer, and spring. If you currently have a fixed A2 stock then you can just slide on the PRS. If you need to change out the buffer tube and you don't know how this is a good video to watch:

Great first build you have going there Montant
