    Minimum mag law? Wow now that's a new one. Here in Kalifornia you can hunt with one if ya like. I hunt Camp Pendelton and the terrain varies so much ya never know.

    Sure own whatever I want. Any of the Armalite products except 50. I am more practical than collector. Bolt action, semi in 308 and various handguns for work. I stay with 45 for the 1911's and 380 for the pocket carry. The hardest to keep feeding is the 10/22. I stocked up but it won't last long.

    Gunbroker the DPMS and buy an M1A. I would recommend an Armalite but you said you hated those. The M1A is a solid rifle.

    NICE. My buddy is in Colorado right now trying to fill his tag. I got skunked so bought some elk, white tail, bison from Elk USA. Eating some now and for the holidays.

    .223 is not 5.56 but 7.62x51 is .308. Yeah lotsa lube and work the action without ammo. Sounds like a M240 breakin in routine.
