  1. So much more than I expected. Facility is fantastic. Shannon Kay and his crew are top-notch, no bullpoopy guys. They had us landing shots I never thought I could pull off by the afternoon of the first day. I never really learned to use data to make shots, so it was all new to me, but once they helped me connect all the dots and get all my fundamentals right, we were laughing out loud at some of the shots we landed. Mostly 850 yds or less, but a few past that. The 500 yd moving range is fantastic. Most fun I've had in years. Easily worth much more than the cost. Highly recommended, check it out- http://kmprecisionrifletraining.com/
  2. Thats strange, everyone in the class I did used it except 2 people, and we were landing shots in the killzone all day, both days. We were always 50 yds or less though except for a few drills that were at 100 yds. The IPSC's were the easiest thing out there to hit
  3. Hey neighbor I'm in baldwin co also (Robertsdale)
  4. The guys from VATA showed me this hold at a 2 day tactical carbine session, I got immidiate results with it. For me, it is better than what I always did. Your mileage may vary....
  5. Hehehe, that movie is a classic Yes, that one was modded by none other than Todd Langner (amp god) in 1986. Its a 5 gain-stage monster with totally reworked DC power supply to the heaters to keep it quiet under ridiculous gain levels. Todd was years ahead of his time, nobody was doing these types of mods then but him. The 900's are not usually coveted by Marshall nuts, but anyone who has heard that amp was absolutely floored by it
  6. I raced motocross for 17 years but quit recently (4 years ago) due to injuries that have stacked up over the years. I have a music project that me and some close friends have been working on for a few years now, seems like its taking forever to finish. My other hobby is highly modified Marshall amps. I see there are some other guitar players in here.. Very cool
  7. Why does my box say 0 warning points? Am I not pissing anyone off yet? (hehe)
  8. I like the way you think.. My wife, on the other hand.... Does not seem to agree
  9. Al has just passed the same law. http://www.ammoland.com/2014/05/alabama-suppressor-hunting-legal-effective-immediately/#axzz34zT5isdR I've already had Rumble Weapons in Fla build and transfer mine, so now the long cold winter of waiting.. Any support groups for that here? (hehehe) I had him build me one with an extra thread adaptor so I can run it on any weapon I own (.17HMR, .22, .223, .308) It will run anything up to .300 Win Mag Cant wait!
  10. Thanks guys
  11. Wow They are pretty pricey. I did not pay much more than that for my POF416 (complete) I've heard of some QC issue's, but mine has been absolutely rock-solid. I ran 1200 rds HARD through it during a 2 day VATA Group session at Camp Villere in LA a few weeks ago without a single hiccup. I only oiled it before the session started. Its full NP3 coated. My only qualm is its slightly heavy compared to my other AR's. Not much, but in a 2 day session you can feel it. Their new trigger group is fantastic.
  12. Thanks guys! Yes, I get there almost daily in my work. I fix appliances. It seems there are lots of people who dont know sand is bad for washing machines (hehe)
