  1. It's pretty sweet! Can't wait to get some ammo down range.
  2. Got it finished but the federal background check system was down today so couldn't bring it home. It's a beast! Just waiting for my stock pack to arrive.
  3. If you get board, you can always work your biceps with it... <thumbsup> Rifle is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow so fingers crossed. Looking forward to mounting it up and getting it dialed in soon.
  4. Got the PST mounted to the SR-25. Seems slightly high, but it actually is perfect. Also got to toss my can on for the photo since I still have a long time to wait for the paperwork.
  5. Thanks. I've had a 6-24 previously and liked it. This 6-24 is going on my SR-25 to see how I like it. The Razor HD Gen II are in a different league. Everything I've read and heard says they compare to scopes hat cost $1,500 more. They are very hard to find and get right now. I got lucky to find this one at my local shop.
  6. Compared to a 6-24x50 FFP.
  7. Just picked up my new scope for my bolt gun and am so impressed! Since I have no rifle yet to mount it on I figured i'd bust out the gear and get some shots of it. So far my impressions are: - Weight - Heavy, compared to my other scopes i've owned. I don't feel that is a negative. It's nice to know I can club someone with it. - Reticle - EBR-2C MOA - I like it. Originally I was going with a 1C, but decided I didn't want to wait for one to arrive so I jumped on this 2C locally. My first MOA scope. - Turrets - Oh man! I love how large and low they are. Very positive clicks and being able to lock them is a plus, and I like the rotation counter. - Glass looks wonderful. Very bright, clear image. Noticeably better than my PST 6-24x50 FFP and my PST isn't half bad either. - Illumination - Almost perfect I think. Very crisp and plenty of settings for any situation. - Magnification - great range!I mean that's why I bought it over the 3-18. I can't see needing more than this in any shooting situation I will be in. On with the photos! The 6-24x50 that I compare too is getting mounted to my SR-25.
  8. Nope :)) Just ordered a Vortex Razor HD Gen II 4.5-27x56 for the bolt gun and am going to put my Vortex PST 6-24x50 on the SR and see how I like it.
  9. **Ordered my new scope today, so this must go! $1,675 shipped for scope $160 shipped for ADM mount Take both scope and mount for $1,799 shipped! ** After 80 rounds down my SR-25 I realized I prefer more magnification. This scope has everything it came with all manuals, scope caps, and box. It is in excellent shape. Only mounted in my ADM mount. It will ship Priority mail with insurance and signature confirmation. USPS Money order preferred, but Paypal will be accepted as well.
  10. Just ordered Seekins .87 Med rings. Hopefully those work, otherwise i'll have to go with the .92 rings. Also grabbed a Seekins SRS rail to replace the two front sling swivels as well as another Atlas BT-10 with Laure QD mount.
  11. You may have seen my SR-25 build, but now that it is done i've got the urge for a bolt gun. After looking at what I wanted I went with an FN SPR A1a. 20" Hammer forged chrome lined Fluted barrel, McMillan Stock, 20MOA rail. Ordered that and my scope. Wanted to keep it under a grand so I went with a Vortex 6-24x50 FFP. Bipod and rings are next. Any idea what rings I should go with? Not my rifle, but what I am getting. Looking forward to seeing what it can do.
  12. $940 shipped for you guys if I can get this sold soon. Have my eye on something else. You know what this is and you know it's $150 less than buying it from BCM. Can't beat this deal! I'll even ship in the original box with the stickers it came with :)
  13. Finishing touches coming in. BCM Mod 4 charging handle (so much better than stock, which I already knew) Knights sights came in..digging them so far. Very low profile and out of the way.
  14. Thank you! I totally forgot they have two versions. I checked my account and mine is the standard. On my other uppers they are the standard barrels too. Never felt the need to spend the extra on the BFH. With that said, price change...$960 shipped. :)
  15. Going a different direction for my AR. Never fired, direct from BCM. Magpul Pro sights and Magpul RSA not included. The upper is a factory BCM 14.5" upper with Daniel Defense FDE RIS II 12" rail. A Battlecomp 1.5 is pinned on. It has a BCM Gunfighter Mod 4 charging handle and a BCM BCG. $1,040 shipped to the lower 48 states takes it. Paypal and USPS Money Orders accepted. Will consider a trade for a Vortex 6-24x50 FFP or SWFA 5-20x50 FFP, in MRAD
  16. Yeah it's the AAC 7.62 SD can. My Pelican came in and since I had a massive amount of stickers laying around figured i'd have some fun. I also cut the foam to fit the rifle, sling, and a couple spare mags.
  17. That was hard to watch....cringe inducing.
  18. Not yet...I'm curious though to see where it comes in.
  19. Thanks! Only thing left to grab was a charging handle and some more ammo. Decided on a BCM Mod 4 CH which I like to run on my AR-15. Scored some 168gr Match Remington Premier at a hair over $1/round. Comes in about .40 cents cheaper per round compared to the FGMM so we'll see how it runs.
  20. Thank you guys! Ran it this morning. 60 rounds and it shot flawlessly. Zeroed at 100 for now and then went over and played on some steel. Looking forward to tweaking zero slightly and then shooting out further this week. Let the guy next to me take two shots and then I follow up with the third. http://youtu.be/Zhv6zCKXWxE?list=UUZUOmQxsHCIcaRm-DHx-aKw I made the mistake of going into the local shop afterwards....first suppressor here I come. Now the wait :)
  21. Well it's been two months, but it's finally, almost complete. Only thing missing is the KAC 45 degree offset sights that are on their way to me. It came out beautifully. Hopefully it shoots as good as it looks.
  22. Plenty to come once I get it!
  23. Too much...or not enough :) Atlas bipod w/ Larue QD mount Custom SR-25 upper on it's way back from Ayan First steel plate targets/stand Pmags
  24. It's torqued good and tight. It won't budge. :) The end of the week can't get here fast enough.
