  1. The Oracle and the AP4 are the same size and my AP4 takes a commercial size. The Sportical is a commercial tube as well.

  3. It's amazing how a nice set of mammaries instills fond memories.
  4. There aren't many of us here are there?
  5. Obummer is above the law and is exempt from laws that govern the common man.
  6. Nice to have another reply, I was beginning to think there was no one else. Nice to meet you, there's no shoot yet but maybe we can put one together soon. Let's see if we have anyone else to post.
  7. Owwwww! But then again as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Nice rifle.
  8. I need two more, maybe i'll give the 3 gun a try.
  9. I'm know way late to the conversation on the Tacops 1 but i need 2 ambi charging handles for both my AR 308's, any chance of a new group buy or discount code from anyone here?
  10. Exactly survivalshop. I'm perfectly happy with the triggers, I just like how quick and easy my follow up shots are with the 5.56. Oh so smooth and accurate even with extreme rapid fire its fast and easy to get back on target. I'm not recoil sensitive at all with the .308, I'm built like a tank. But even with my size and a very good trigger the .308 takes me about 2x as long to get back on target for that follow up shot. No regrets whatsoever in my purchase of these triggers, still I'll work on my follow through.
  11. I'm working on it.
  12. All these are good scopes, I have the Nikon Buckmaster 6-18-40 bdc and the Monarch 4-16-50 bdc and they are good out to 5-600 yards. I just recently bought the trijicon 2.5-10-56 accupoint which sits on my dpms ap4 16" .308 and its a tac driver out to 300 yards, but I've yet to take out further. One other you might want to consider is the Vortex pst riflescopes.
  13. Welcome from a fellow South Georgia member.
  14. I don't have anything planned I was just trying to see who we had here. Whereabouts are you? I'm just outside of Douglas Ga. Just a couple hours north of Jax Florida. What was your venue for East coast shoot?
  15. I know I'm late to this thread but I recently bought 2 SSA-E's & 2 G2S's and they all rock. Where I really notice how smooth and quick they are is in my AR 15 5.56, I can throw my rifle up on my hunting back pack and rapid fire as fast as i can pull the trigger a 10 round mag and still shoot groups the size of a silver dollar at 100 yards. Oh I forgot, this is also the G2S trigger set up. Theres to much recoil to do that with my .308's but they're definately m.o.a. rifles now.
  16. Anybody gonna do any shooting get togethers in 2015?
  17. I like it, at 300 yards its right on the money and the glass is bright and clear. No battery to deal with and the accupoint brightness is adjustable. I'm really a Nikon guy but I'm also now a believer in trijicon. I will say that my Nikon Buckmaster 6-18-40 on my Grendel has more magnification but within 300 yards the Trijicon is a far superior riflescope, again that's coming from a guy with many Nikon scopes.
  18. I bought my brand new in the box DPMS AP4 308 in November for $819.00. I bought it specifically for the 16" carbine length barrel for tree stand deer hunting, I mounted a trijicon 2.5-10-56 accupoint w/QD Burris mount w/Burris Fastfire lll and put a geiselle SSA-E trigger in it for less then 2 Grand including the cost of the rifle. The guy said he was wholesaleing these rifles because the new DPMS ll recons were flooding the market and he needed to blow these out.
  19. I didn't know that happened. Hardly the bad ass figure he portrays.
  20. He is kind of a dick but I like his videos.
  21. I like James Yaeger but he is a hater of the AR 15 & AR .308 platform, he's an Ak, FAL and M1A guy. Which is fine I like all those rifles as well but my go to rifles for hunting and or SHTF are all AR's followed by the AK for SHTF close quarters.
  22. And I understand why but some take it a little to far in my humble opinion.
  23. That's one thing we don't typically have, a harsh snow filled winter that is. One thing we do have to deal with is farmers that are sick of their crops being eaten by herds of deer. So they get crop permits and shoot any they see. I understand their frustration but as a hunter I don't want the deer wiped out either.
  24. We use old politician and for sale signs. Just tape the target to the sign and what's best is they're free right after the election.
