  2. To the team at Faxon>>>>> I just came back from the range. 400rds ,zero FTF or FTE, bolt locked back on every empty mag its fixed! Thanks, Faxon team!!! Jetdoc Mike
  3. A shout out to Faxon and their great customer support and services. I purchased a 300blk barrel last Aug. After much troubleshooting on my own, I decided to reach out to you. I could not get the pistol to run. it would constantly short stroke, ammo type, buffer, and spring didn't make any difference. You can imagine how frustrating this can be. I reached out to you via your contact page. Mark responded and was a great help, together we determined that the gas port hole was too small measuring .07 when your revised gas port is to be .104. Well, I sent my barrel back per Mark's instructions. Mark responded to me this afternoon the gas port has been reamed to .104 and on its way back. I just wanted to say thanks to Mark and the entire Faxon team. Job well done! Jetdoc Mike
  4. Welcome EK via the Arizona Territory .....let the harassment begin.
  5. Great looking rifle! However AR10 is a trademarked name by Armilite. Yours is a 308AR. Have you had it to the range for some lead slinging yet?
  6. I second that.
  7. Thanks for the idea Sketch....Yes it makes sense. I was thinking of a 2x4 and a few clamps. either way it'll get the job done.
  8. Thanks Doc....This makes building all that more rewarding!
  9. My Son , plinking steel at 300 yrds.
  10. I consider any part I place on my rifle or pistol a life saving device. Ill spend a extra few bucks to have that piece of mind. Saying that , I purchased these.... and am very happy with them. https://dueckdefense.com/shop/firearms/rifles/rapid-transition-sight-set-front-rear/
  11. Great receiver group and stock! I'm sure the gents here will be a great help. I started my first 308AR build in January and just finished a few weeks ago. Have fun building then shooting.
  12. I used their first store in Wilmont Wisconsin when I was growing up ......SAD.
  13. Went back this morning .... I believe shes settled in. 5 boxes of ammo , a mix of factory and hand loads. Zero issues , functionality was spot on. These were at 100yrds . The steel also was ringing at the 300 line.
  14. Brew ....Ive used this technique when using a bipod and it works great. Installing your bipod with the legs folding back is not a option to properly pre load the bipod. Great looking Rifle and awesome color!
  15. Was at the range again this afternoon.... shes proving to be quite the tack driver.
  16. Thanks for the comment CR ! The barrel isn't marketed as a bull.It was a personal decision on my part to use a standard muzzle instead of a comp , brake or flash hider. I wanted to be different. I'm wired that way.
  17. Thanks Sir!
  18. Thx Bro!
  19. Thanks Gents
  20. The bipod was delivered today, it is completed.
  21. I took the Trijicon off and purchased a Nightforce SHV 3X10X42 and a Warner mount. The rapid transition sights were a really tight fit with the Trijicon.
  22. The black diamond in the distance is the 300 yrd target, those are my orange targets just to the left on the 100 line.
