  1. Welcome from Pennsylvania @Ederds!!
  2. Damn, that's a bit pricey! I like the looks of it though
  3. True. Again I thank you for helping me spend @Belt Fed's $$$ wisely!!
  4. 😂 that's the little SOB that you pack 10lb of tannerite around the den & wait 😈
  5. You fukers put $3k in front of THAT, just for the rifle & Trijicon scope, we got a deal ......maybe😂
  6. I pretty much ruled out the extractor. Which kind of leaves tight chamber or hot ammo. I just spoke to the gun guy I know again and he feels that if it was a problem with the chamber every round should be sticking not one or two out of the past 30 or 40. I think the chamber could use a little polishing which is what I'm going to do. I'm also going to try a different ammo this weekend as well.
  7. Welcome from Pennsylvania @808chx.irradicator
  8. Hmmm, may have been changed. According to the Armalite repair tech I spoke with today, they are all relief cut. However, I did ask him if others pattern extractor arms would fit in a bind & he would NOT give me a yes or no answer, only that " all our extractors have the relief cut to grip the shell case deeper". Got my curiosity up now, I may order an aftermarket extractor to measure & try.
  9. I agree, going the paste route 1st.
  10. I know the guy that runs Small Arms Manufacturing and he said I could bring it in and they could take care of it. I think I'll try the Fitz first and see if I can't do it myself, if I fail at that attempt, then I'll let them have a shot at it
  11. Garrett from Armalite returned my call today. Gave him all the details I could. The brass chunks in the chamber obviously could cause problems, along with the carbon marks from possibly gas seeping by, lateral markings etc. I also told him the chamber looked a little rough. He suggested checking the feed ramp for burr, polish if I find any. Also to get a chamber hone to smooth out the chamber.

  13. You mean once I have it all egged out to about a 300 Magnum new chamber? LOL
  14. So hold off with the 80 grit paper and high speed drill? 🤣
  15. What the Hell ever Frank!! Eer, Bob?..I mean Larry. Dammit, who ever you are
  16. Thanks. I noticed the tooling marks, wasn't sure if it was that rough or just over pronounced from the magnified close up pic.
  17. 😂😄😅 Much appreciated!
  18. 😂🤣 i forgot about that! What a geriatric hypocritical sumbitch!!
  19. 😂🤣😃 Well, not sure if it was copper or brass but there were 2 decent size chunks smooshed inside the chamber. Let some solvent soak & wire brushed it. Meh, didn't work. Then used a nylon brush & some Iosso paste & scrubbed the fuk out of it. THAT WORKED! Not sure if that was the issue, but damn sure it wasn't good . Gonna get out Saturday & see.
