  1. Considering that optic alone is 1 grand brand new on Optics Planet, I'd say that's a "buy that mfer before someone else can."
  2. Facts don't care about your feelings, and neither does the data.
  3. Like I said, I'll trust data over personal anecdotes so old that people who were born when you retired are enlisted now. I'll trust over half of minority service members over the words of some ancient fornicate with a chip on his shoulder about how great the military is.
  4. Here's what military times has to say about white supremacy in the ranks. https://www.militarytimes.com/news/pentagon-congress/2020/02/06/signs-of-white-supremacy-extremism-up-again-in-poll-of-active-duty-troops/
  5. I've literally been the only person involved in this discussion to rely on anything but experience that is so far out of date, people who were born when you retired can enlist now.
  6. I trust data more than people up in their feelings.
  7. All I know is how they've acted around me, and the data collected by the FBI that they've made public. All signs point to heavy white supremacist affiliations. I have no idea how a handful of recon marines could have Totenkopf, Odal Runes, and Life runes tattooed on their arms without chain of command picking up on it. Is SOCOM incompetent, indifferent, or complicit?
  8. All I know of SOF are the racist POS's that I had to deal with at my Barracks who would come get piss drunk with a white supremacist in my unit, and what the FBI has to say about it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Like I said, I'll trust the FBI and the patterns of behavior I've seen over some dick face on the internet who hasn't been in since the m16a3 was standard issue.
  9. You're the one who started this thread. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If you can't handle where the discussion goes, don't hop on your soap box. Now, you familiar with how documents are released by the FBI, or nah?
  10. Yes, the FBI has been warning about it for 15 years. That document was only recently declassified. I don't have access to the classified FBI docs, so, you got any reason white supremacists would stop trying to infiltrate the police and military? Or do you think they've been able to do so unfettered for the last 15 years, since nobody has done poop to curb it?
  11. Given that the FBI has warned about white supremacist infiltration of the military and police forces, I'm inclined to say it's not an isolated incident. I'll trust the FBI's briefings over some internet rando any day. https://oversight.house.gov/sites/democrats.oversight.house.gov/files/White_Supremacist_Infiltration_of_Law_Enforcement.pdf
  12. I found 9mm today for .40 cents a round. Nature is healing, give it time.
  13. 2015-19, Marine corps. 0621-22. Don't get your panties in a twist because someone had a different experience in the military than you did.
  14. Hey, remember that time an entire unit got into deep dookie for using the SS flag? So, unless you know another reason for a Totenkopf and life rune tattoo, I'm gonna go with neo-nazi for that recon marine.
  15. Did 4 years. Got a non-rec for the fight, left a Lance. Worth it to beat the snot out of a racist NCO who went around calling junior marines racist slurs.
  16. Well, considering how many Recon marines I knew who had no problem repping neo-nazi tats, I'd say it's not the worst idea to have someone in the chain of command who can spot it and drum them out. poop, I had an NCO who straight up would drop the hard R, N-word at junior marines until I beat the poop out of him. That kind of blatant racism really isn't as uncommon in the military as you'd like to believe.
  17. I see. So, on my .308AR, do you think the DPMS pattern upper could be filed, or filled to fit the PA-10 lower, or do you think I should wait out the backorder on the PA-10 upper and cancel the order on my upper?
  18. From what I could find online, the new PA10 gen 3 upper is a DPMS low profile pattern. I'll test fit them as soon as the upper arrives, and my FFL gets my lower in.
  19. I'm familiar with the AR15, but now I'm in the market for a 7.62x51 NATO rifle. I decided on the AR10, since it's already in use by NATO forces as the Knight's Armament M110. I'm just building my first AR10 now. I've just purchased a PA10 stripped lower, and a DPMS low profile upper. Found this forum while I was searching for parts that would work on building mine, and figured I'd join to get help and advice. I already know about the proprietary lower parts on the PA10, such as the bolt catch, mag release, and retaining/detent pins. Guess I'll be asking a lot of questions around here, so I don't end up with a ton of expensive parts laying around that I can't use.
  20. I had a need for a precision battle rifle / hunting rifle. I was considering the m1a, but after finding out about the POI drift due to heat mirage over the barrel, I decided to go with the AR-10, since I'm already very familiar with the AR-15 from my time in the Marines.
