What is good oil for AR’s. Is rem oil any good? Temperature is pretty cold outside now. I typically spray some in there and blow it out with air. Then wipe off the outside. I do quite a bit of night hunting. That has always worked on my semi auto shotguns.

I ordered the gas tube but couldn’t find pins on their website. Will I be able to use the old pin again? I called a few times and never got ahold of anyone

I am not good enough at measuring to know if the additional length would bottom out in gas key

After reading what has been talked about gas tube length I checked mine and it looks like if a 12 1/16” was used, it would be a bit past the middle. Rough measurements show that it is the 11.75”. It’s a psa 18” mid length 308 upper with adjustable gas block on a g3-10 psa lower with a 5.1 oz buffer and orange sprinco spring. I use a rugged Razor suppressor on it and so far it hasn’t failed to cycle properly. Or should I leave it alone?

Yes, I agree it doesn’t resemble the Aero at all and I thought all of them have the A logo on them. And I also saw that the DB’s all seemed to be the armalite slant instead of dpms curve. The reason I was trying to find out is that I ended up with two 308s and if I try to sell it, would like to know the brand. I have it on an aero lower that I purchased separately.

is there any way to identify this upper? It has no marks of any kind on it. My grandson got it for me and was told it is aero precision. I am pretty sure it would have their logo if it was. Do any diamond backs have the dpms style curve back end?

I got this truck from Montana 2 years ago. It’s still original paint and no rust. But it has lots of small dings. It was a one owner
