Building my first AR

I am in the process of building my first AR. Well i started off buying a PSA PA10 stripped lower. The next thing im going to order is the Lower parts kit. but i have no idea what to look for and if all or any other brands would interchange with PSA.. and also the only color i can find is black but im wanting brown... anyone know anywhere i can look? please help. im in no hurry to buy the parts thats why im building my own i have to save up money and i also want to build it like i want instead of how someone else wants it..

When you say "brown" do you actually mean (FDE) "Flat Dark Earth"? It's the desert tan color that is very popular right now. I don't know of any commercially available "brown" parts.

if so, take a look at Magpul's website, looks like PSA is using Milspec diameter receiver extension (double check when you buy it)

so, make sure you buy a stock that will work with your choice of receiver extension (carbine length or rifle length - carbine is pictured 

in the example in the link - the stock looks like an MOE model, I would consider an upgrade to at least the CTR model - it is similar to the MOE except it includes a locking feature to reduce wobble on the receiver extension tube)

And choose a grip - looks like there are 2 choices on the MIAD grip (Type 1 or Type 2, Check with PSA for details

as to what model fits their lower) - I would expect a lot of AR15 grips should also fit - you can get a basic one for pretty cheap.

One important heads up, PSA seems to have a bunch of proprietary parts and specifications on this deal so you will have to buy 

a lot of your parts from them to ensure proper fit and function - The grip and stock are standard items but some of the items in the lower parts kit are PSA specific and we've heard their upper is not interchangeable with typical DPMS type uppers - we are still collecting info on exactly what PSA has created here.

Just a note with PSA receiver extensions, make sure you get the 7075 version as they make a mil-spec dimension one out of weaker 6061 (7075 is milspec).
