Light 308 brush gun?

Weighed the .308  rifle: 12.2 lbs with scope and sling but without a magazine or bipod.

My latest AR15 weighs 10.0 lbs. (18" with rifle length gas - DPMS 3G1 upper)

 

Every time that I decide to get an alternate upper (caliber, length, or whatever), I just end up getting a dedicated lower for it.

Guess I just have to build another and make it a lightweight hunter :)

Heck yes you do....huntin season will be here before we know it...ive got " the twins"  one Nexgen for Char and one for me...btw the Mech Armor group buy trigger rocks in this rifle...got another coming my way  :) Wash

Look up Bryon Salt of Saltworks, has a 308 style AR around 6 pounds. If I remember correctly its about $1300 for a complete rifle or you can buy what you need from him.
