Brownells has a gas tube with a small valve to adjust the amount of gas flow. My question is, can I use this on my AR-10?  Are AR-15 and AR-10 gas tubes the same length and diameter?

Armilite ,I think uses different lengths than a DPMS.

If it reads its for Armilite, AR10 , it should work .

DPMS type platforms use the same lengths & diameter as an AR 16/15, (carbine length or rifle length)

Thanks for the info. I ordered the adj. gas tube without doing enough research. I thought it would be better idea than an adj. gas block. I will know in 2 days if I need to send it back.

Any updates on that adjustable gas tube? I have a rifle length build that is overgassed and was thinking of going this way instead of buying another gas block. I guess my question is would you buy again?

The gas tube was too short for my AR10. It should fit an AR10 OK. I would order it again if I had the rifle for it as I shoot reloads and factory bullets.

Ok are AR10 and DPMS styles use different gas tube lengths or is a rifle length gas tube the same arcoss the board?

Armalite AR-10 Rifle Length gas tube, OAL = 14 15/16" (almost 15").  Armalite Part # 10001070

Armalite M-15 (AR-15) Rifle Length gas tube, OAL = 15 3/16".  Armalite Part # EU0170

Short answer is no, Armalite AR-10 gas tubes are a different length than other stuff out there.  Sorry, man.
