planeflyer21
Decent and innovative. Needs a dual locking ring design IMO, one to lock the unit to the handguard and one to lock down the bipod when needed. Otherwise, pretty kickass! blue109
agree. way too sloppy as it sits. I don't see how it wouldn't just unscrew itself if you were shooting unsupported. you would have to "lock" it down with the collar, but then it would take too long to deploy. the host guy says you can use it for "lights or lasers or anything else" why they heck would I need that? potential neat idea. needs some work. probably doesn't cost $700. survivalshop
It locked down good enough to unscrew the YH hand guard when they swiveled it & it wasn't locked down yet ! <dontknow> I have a YH made Hand Guard ( made for Fulton Armory ) on my 20" 308AR & until I loc tite'd the HandGuard threads & its cinch nut , it would loosen every time I went to the range . Some anti rotating pins would help . I believe that slim rail sticking out will break with rough use . Not that any of us would abuse our rifles or there add on's . <thumbsup>
blue109
I was wondering about that rail spinning lol. wasn't sure if that was intentional. doesn't look like any parts I need to own any time soon. still like to see guys turning out new ideas. might morph into something useful. my GGG bipod can swing one leg out almost horizontal without adding any extra weight or slop to the end of the gun Edited February 18, 2015 by blue109
