match308
Is it possible to use an Armalite barrel on a DPMS LR308 as long as I use an Armalite bolt in the LR308 BCG?
98Z5V
Yep. Make sure you headspace it, still.

Matt.Cross
You may also have to accommodate differences in the gas system, IE gas block and gas tube length.
match308
Thanks. Didn't think of that. I'll probably just stay DPMS on all of it for simplicity and parts availability.
98Z5V
Gas block should be standard - nothing special there, as long as the diameter is right. Armalite gas tubes are longer than DPMS-based gas tubes. If you're changing a barrel, the gas block will come off the old barrel anyway, and putting in a new gas tube is easy.
