Thomas2Dawg
I have been building AR's & Ak's for years, since the 70's after 'Nam. Settled here near Fayetteville and retired, got my 07 Manf. FFL and started back. I bought a DPMS LR308 18" that would shoot under 1/2 moa and was amazed that a semi could beat my bolt guns! Now I'm hooked. I have been looking at the Les Baer Ultimate 308, but figure from my experience building 1/2 MOA AR-15's I can do the same with the .308 platform. Just gotta read and learn and see what's being recommended. From using the DPMS LR308 and from the super accurate AR's I've built over the years, I know that $$$$$$ doesn't necessarily mean "Accuracy". So I'm here, learning, gleaning from the guys who've been there and done that, and hope to enjoy the comraderie of being around some guys who love firearms that will shoot...and shoot good. Take care and look forward to being a part of this forum.Thomas2Dawg, Linden, North Carolina

Matt.Cross
Welcome to the forum, nice to have another fellow Carolinian on the boards. Hopefully I can pick your brain about accurizing the .308 I'm building!
