ChaseFan9
I'm not sure if this'll fall under "the rule", but I already ordered it so it doesn't really matter. Has anyone ever used one of these on a big boy AR? Did you have a gap like with the Ergo Grip? http://www.midwayusa.com/product/1151348749/hogue-overmolded-pistol-grip-ar-15-rubber

Robocop1051
If you like rubber grips, you can't go wrong with Magpul MOE+ or K2+.
AngelDeVille
What gap? I use the samco G27 on mine and a few of my ar's as well.
Rsquared
Hogue's are all I use on my AR's. And no gap problems on any of my 10's. Keep in mind that mine are all Armalite's (and 1 POF). Can't speak for the other patterns. But I do have a BRO matched set that I've been planning on building off of.
ChaseFan9
I'm building on a Matrix Aero lower, so it should fit snug like on your Armalites, but I won't know for sure until Tuesday. Any trouble with the safety catching on the grip?
Rsquared
Not yet.
ChaseFan9
I did; had to take a razorblade and cut out a little rounded groove about 1/16" thick for the safety selector to clear the edge of the grip. I'll post pictures in the morning. Edited May 14, 2015 by ChaseFan9
wetncold
Mine came with the Hogue overmolded grip. Feels just fine to me.
ChaseFan9
It looks schitty right now, I just wanted to make it fit at the moment. I'll go back over it and smooth it out later.

washguy
Yikes never had to do that with any of my hogues...a short throw safety lever maybe? :) Wash
ChaseFan9
In my defense, it was done at 4am at the end of a 2 week stint of working 3-1 every night with a Kobalt box cutter. Got that schit to work, though XD

ChaseFan9
I was actually thinking about taking something and smoothing out the groove. Maybe like a little soldering iron or a really hot needle?
wetncold
Mine don't look nothing like that.
