New Guy asking about the SR762

I'm sure this has been asked before but, my search didn't bring up all that much.

So, here's my question, what do you folks think of the SR762 out of the box?

About all I plan to do is get a really decent piece of glass and be done with it.

This will be my first 308 semi. my other 308 is an M77 MkII varmit and it's a beauty.

Alot of us have built - or are building - the Matrix Aerospace .308 receiver sets now.  Matrix makes the receivers for Ruger, for their rifle.  There's also plenty of info in the Matrix section, under the Manufacturers section.
