looking a scope for a decent scope with a 60mm Objective Lens.

I am looking for a scope that can handle the recoil of the DPMS LR-308 AR10A2 clone in 308/7.62x51mm.    I am looking for something with a magnification from either 3or4x12or24x60 with illuminated cross hairs that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

I have a couple of UTG scopes mounted on an AR-15 and AR308, but they are only 50mm objective lenses.  They hold zero perfectly, even being out in the field hunting as well as plinking on the range.  They are illuminated.

I have two Barskas SWAT 6-24x60’s.    Seems like they don’t like the recoil from a DPMS AR10 in 308.   One of them the windage won’t adjust, the knob just turns.   The other one the cross hairs has rotated to the right.  I thought the hole scope had shifted, but no the cross hairs rotated.  I am looking for something in this power range that can handle the recoil from a 308 round.   I sent a message via Barska’s web sit last night wanting to know about repair or replacement.    They are both just a little over a year old.  

 

I have other Barska’s and UTG’s on other AR15’s in 5.56.   They can handle that recoil.
