Magpul M118 Gen 3 P-Mags Review

The wife bought me one of the Magpul Gen 3 P-Mags for the longer M118 ammo for Christmas. My 7.62 175 gr. FGMM was scrapping the tips along the front in the standard mags so the M118 version went on my list. It is real close to scrapping but does have just a slight gap at the tip.

They measure 2.835 in. inside compared to my standard Gen 3's at 2.825 in. Now I never had any function issues with the longer rounds in the standard P-mag but the 10 rounder I use most of the time on the range is showing a pretty good groove from the bullets dragging. Wish they would do a M118 version of the 10 rounder, I can tell already the bags will be stacked high for bench work. The M118 versions easily drops free from my Matrix and my Sig. I'll run some rounds after the snow blows through in a few days.
