6132expert
I got an email from Si today saying that my Gen III upper in OD was mailing out. Well long story short I ordered a upper back in March in the Fail Zero and recived it in no time. When I made this order online I did the NFZero and OD for color. Well my order was never marked shipped so they was fixin to send me another. When I got the email today I was confused and so I called them to find out what was going on. I could of got a new Si Gen III upper in OD for free if I didnt have such a big mouth. :'( :'(All in all I guess it is best to be honest about things. <thumbsup> But a free upper sure does sound nice. 6132expert
Yeah I know. Now if I hadnt check my email today and they shipped it I dont think I could ship it back to them. I hate to say that but if a new part wound up on my door step I would have to keep it. ;D

98Z5V
6132, you did the right thing. <thumbsup>Some time ago, SI had an inexpensive run (read: cheap) on AR-15 uppers, and some were out of spec. They stood behind them 110%, offered free replacement without question to whoever called and complained, and all uppers in question were replaced. What you did with your honesty, was back a company with honesty. There are many companies out there these days that will do that, but there are many more that won't, without interrogation or water-boarding, or blaming you, the customer first - trying to find a way out. What you gave back to that company is what they give to their customers. Ya done good. 8)
