308 80% build

Hello everyone,

I am in the beginning stages of milling an 80% 308 lower and would like to know if the jig for the AR 15 can be used on the AR 10.

Already milled an AR 15 and it came out great. Already have the AR 15 jig. That's why i'm curious.

No.  That is one reason why some of the 80% manufacturers have kits including the jig.

pretty sure the pockets are the same though, no?

The LR308 and the AR15 used separate jigs.

Good luck on the TM 308.  Ive been waiting forever for them to get them in stock, obviously they have a huge inventory issue that they have never been able to fix so I decided to go with American Made Tactical upper and lower billet.

As far as TM's jigs, ya they are great aren't they? I used a router on the ar15 I built from TM a few years ago and it did turn out great, spot on with the hole placement.
