srf65f Posted March 19, 2017 Report Posted March 19, 2017 Got my toy out today, function tested bcg, charging handle, bolt release, and dropped a round in the chamber of the upper(no bcg or charging handle in place) to check and make sure rounds seated fully and came out without any problems. Broke everything down and lubed well with Slip 2000 EWG and Extreme Force oil, reassembled, loaded 5 rds of Wolf Military Classic in a 20 rd PMag, and got my hearing protection and safety glasses and went outside for firing. Fired 5 shots slow fire with no ftf or fte, steel cases do show extractor marks on the case heads and a couple of light scratches on the case necks. There is a small difference in the matchup of the PSA lower and AXC Upper. This doesn't bother me as long as the gun functions. Looking forward to getting my scope, some good ammo, and doing some accuracy testing.
Sisco Posted March 19, 2017 Report Posted March 19, 2017 try some good ammo now. What is your barrel twist?
srf65f Posted March 19, 2017 Author Report Posted March 19, 2017 1:10. What factory ammo do you suggest? I don't handload.
Matt.Cross Posted March 19, 2017 Report Posted March 19, 2017 Any fairly well known match ammo in 168 and 175 gr will likely perform best.
