Gas tube to Gas Block Fitment

When you slide the gas tube into the gas block should it be an easy fitment or do you need to kinda push it in so the pin holes line up? I'm looking at mine and I can really get it to line up perfectly. I'll upload a photo but it didn't catch the detail I had hoped for. I'm wondering if this is normal or if one of these components is slightly out of spec.

If you push does it line up better? Might be a tough go getting the pin drove through like the picture shows.

That's normal - if it just slipped in there, it wouldn't seal very well, and you'd need to shoot the hell out of it to develop a carbon seal. Pound a gas tube roll pin in that thing, and you'll be fine.
