Bob Schulze
I just put together an Anderson Manufacturing AM10 complete kit. I'm happy with it, smooth machining and shot well (3 round test). It was not super cheap at about $700+. (they had a 10% off sale). I noticed that Tiger Rock has a complete (less lower) kit available for around $400. They say it is compatible with DPMS style lowers. If I can find a lower in the less than $100 range I could have a very cost effective AR 308, say $500+? One question I have, DPMS style is sort of broad. Type l, ll, many manufacturers, etc. I want a good looking rifle. Tiger Rock is in sort of transition and is working on the details, so does not have a ready answer yet. I would appreciate some comments from you...your thoughts? Thank you, Bob

Thank you, Bob DPMS makes two types of 308AR's , the original LR 308 & the Gen II , which has a smaller receiver set & a lot of proprietary components . I don't know of any manufacturer that makes any replacement Receivers for the DPMS Gen II 308AR's . POF makes a small frame 308AR," The Revolution " , all or mostly ,proprietary . I would only purchase the same manufacturers Upper & Lower receivers , because of the possibility of tolerance stacking . Don't know a thing about Tiger Rock .
