Is this magazine legit?

I bought this Armalite 10 rounder from a guy on another forum and it doesn't look like any of the other magazines I have:

Note the polymer follower, the reverse round order, the strange metal tab on the rear of the follower, and the lack of an angle at the bottom of the magazine. It seats properly, but I haven't test fired it. Not sure if I should just send it back to the guy? Is this legit or did I get swindled?

Looks like it could be a first generation Armalite AR-10 magazine. Gen two fixed some feeding issues and is said to be superior, I have never used a first gen myself.

Left, first gen, middle, cheap wannabe Armalite, right gen II, all have flat bases, even my 25 rounders.

Appears to be an Armalite magazine based on the patent number (U.S. Pat. No. 5,638,626 is assigned to Armalite).

The spring-loaded button/tab sticking out of the back of the follower is a bolt catch actuation finger to hold the bolt open on an empty magazine.
