6132expert
OK, I need some help. I need a link/links to some good brakes for this blackout. I am having trouble finding one. :'(
imschur
Your barrel should be threaded 5/8-24 so any 308 brake will work.
6132expert
I kinda though it would be that way but was not sure. I got the cmmg 16 carbine barrel and I have a nice brake laying around here somewhere. So now I need a nice rail and sites and she will be putting rounds down range. survivalshop
The shorter Smiths Enterprises brake works well on my 16" Wilson bbl.. They make a longer one , I like the short one . I got it from Brownells.
6132expert
I hope I am not going to miss goig with the wilson fluted barrel, but I got my CMMG 16 inch carbine with single rail block and tube for 175 shipped from a mod over on the 300BLK forum I have a brake but I have no idea who makes it or what it is called. I have only seen mine and one other like it so I will see how it does before I get another. I should have a report in the very near future. survivalshop
My Wilson BBL. is the light weight ,the heavy fluted was out of stock when I ordered this one & she shoots real good & this complete rifle is very light .

survivalshop
Nice brake if you plan to use a Can , but if some one is not going to use one , the money for one, to me, seems wasted .You can always buy a Suppressor for it later though, if its on there. RayGun19
The AAC one is the one I have on my AR10, and although we can't own cans in the Socialist Republic of Illinois, I love it. It performs just like AAC says it will. My AR10 with NATO ammo has less recoil than the wifes M4 with a flash hider. That is, until the local armorer installs her AAC Blackout brake. <thumbsup>
6132expert
Dang I made a BOOBOO, I went on an ordering spreee which was good, but I ordered the wrong size crush washer for my muzzle break. So now I am fixin to order a few parts from YHM and will add it to the list. HAHA I guess I have extras for a new build. I never thought I would wind up with so many extra parts on 2 builds. I guess it has helped when I see a deal on something I grab it even if I dont need it. I should be shooting my AAC within the next 2 weeks.
