Headshots. Most every kill I make, since ‘97, has been a headshot. I lost an entire shoulder to a bone hit on a buck in a CO hunt, and said never again. All my bears went straight through the brain pan.

Never shoot twice. Don’t lose an ounce of meat.

That was how my dad handled me damaging too many rabbits and squirrels with my sling shot, he started making me just throw rocks left handed when I was hunting and always letting them get 100 yards away before throwing ....., so I then started bow hunting deer.
