jtallen83
JSE has a pile of these sets for $99 each, only cost me $8 for shipping on two sets. Reads like they have finish blems but I plan on Cerakote anyway. Hard to find a set cheaper. https://02b5f6c.netsolstores.com/dpmsar15strippedupperloweratacscamoset.aspx UPDATE; DON'T BUY, see below. Robocop1051
Soooo tempting. Really can’t beat that price. It basically matches the regular Anderson sales for $39.99 lowers and $59.99 uppers.... but with ATACS!!!
jtallen83
And Brownells is running a sale on matching handguards for $5.99 plus you can get a matching grip there for $6.99! There are still some matching magpul furniture sets out there as well. https://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/forend-amp-handguard-parts/handguards-amp-rails/ar-15-atacs-glacier-car-handguard-sku231300021-77883-162755.aspx https://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/grip-parts/pistol-grips/ar-15-a2-atacs-pistol-grip-sku231300029-77885-162763.aspx Maybe I won't cerakote both sets......... jtallen83
Picked up the two sets I ordered today. Blemishes are not real bad, upper and lowers match real well. Gotta give the deal a no go though, the ATACS finish bubbles up when the brake cleaner hits it so one set will end up Cerakoted something else. I found this out during my usual upper receiver lapping, I use brake cleaner to clean up the super sticky lapping compound. Both uppers were WAY off from square. It took forever to get them even, at least ten times the effort before they finally squared up. I now have grooves worn in my lapping tool, hoping I can figure out a way to flatten it up again or I'll have to buy a new one.
