Range day.with the.old rifle

Pulled.my.old.AR 15 E2 out to do some shooting. It has a.cheap Firefield 1×6 ×40 mm with a mil dot recticle on it now. Ended up getting.in.the boonies and.staking out a target at 300 yards. I had 17 Hornady 75 gr HPBT with 23 gr RL15 I wanted to use up. I haven't shot over 200 yards in a long long time and it.showed. Need practice at longer distances.
