jtallen83
Is this a rifle length or carbine? If Carbine what is the inside depth measurement? Pictures will be beneficial.

jtallen83
Read this thread, one of many here that explains what works and what doesn’t; Search Vltor and Armalite buffer tube or extension and you will have a flood of info.
edgecrusher
I would skip the adjustable gas block and say this for two reasons. It is easier to build the rifle and get it running without having to diagnose too many different things if you’re having issues. Having a regular low-profile gas block will illuminate gas as an issue to a certain extent or make it easier to diagnose a gas issue right off the cuff. Unless you absolutely plan on running suppressedI’d hold off on the adjustable gas block. I say this for two reasons. Unless you absolutely plan on running suppressed, at which point I would suggest something like a switch block or an adjustable block with several gas positions versus screw or key
