jtallen83 Posted August 4, 2018 Report Posted August 4, 2018 Like the title says, Aero rails will not work on Matrix receivers. Of course I had the Cerakote done while out of town so I didn't get to test fit. Now I have to decide if I buy another rail to fit the Matrix or buy Aero receivers to fit the rail. This budget build has turned into what will eventually be two builds and not as budget as originally thought.
98Z5V Posted August 4, 2018 Report Posted August 4, 2018 I'd get that hump on the upper machined down, brother. It's not necessary, it just covers that little piece of port door rod.

I'll get an M5 receiver set for this shorty build and an MI 15 inch rail to go with the matrix for another build. and as far as my wife knows it's impossible to make it work so I HAVE to buy another receiver set and end up with two rifles, that's my story and I'm stick'n to it!
