WTB: DPMS 308 Firing Pin Retaining Pin and Firing Pin

I need to buy these 2 items. I do not know how it's even possible for the retaining pin to fall out, but it did. I need to replace it and the firing pin itself.

Brownells is finally adding these parts to their catalog. Stock comes and goes currently but it's a good sign none the less.

I will be placing an order this week for them.

In the meanwhile, I did use an alternative method for 'retaining' the firing

pin sans the OEM part. I used a piece of toothpick-sized piece of wood to hold it in.

It holds perfectly and I ran around 80 rounds through the rifle on Saturday

without a hiccup.

Just to let you know; it will work, if you're in a pinch..  <thumbsup>
