Thinking I’m gonna give boron nitride a go

what thoughts are out there? Too big a pain and not worth the effort for the benefit?

i have a couple hundred of them all coated up - after I make sure the gun isn’t going to give me any more trouble I’ll start load development with them.

Messed with it a little several years ago. I did see a benefit on cleaning, hardly any fouling. I don’t have a chrono so can’t comment on that part. The stuff is nasty to work with, don’t spill on the floor, schit is like ice and hard to clean up. I may try it again if I ever get back to reloading again.

Shot some moly coated bullets a few years ago. My LGS guy who is a former world champion distance shooter uses nothing but. Moly coated bullets ARE accurate, but a pain in the neck to clean the rifles afterwards. Boron nitride would be a better way to go.
