Albroswift
Hello, All Shorty 7-1/2" AR15 What could possibly cause a mill spec trigger to act as a binary? Only when live firing, unable to reproduce in frame or trigger jig. Also, this trigger came out of another AR that I upgraded, worked 5X5 in that platform. Single round BCG lockback test passes. Didn't try one round no magazine. I thought I might have had a couple a while back out of 100 rounds, not even sure if they were slams or binary or finger bounce. 4 oz buffer and Sprinco white hot Put a lighter spring and buffer (Mill Spec AR15 damage industries) Pull the trigger, bang. Hold the trigger back as long as I want, release, bang. Pretty cool but... Went to the lighter spring because pistol would cycle 40 gr and 62 gr but not 55 gr. It now works with the 55's, but not expecting this. Going to try with a different FCG.
Radioactive
Finger bounce due to not solid anchor in shoulder pocket. I got a couple doubles with the 375 socom pistol if shooting it with the brace one handed. I also had it happen 1x when trying to shoot my 260 Like I would a bolt gun. Without solid hold it’s like a bump stock. Don’t let the govt know - they’ll make it illegal. nevermind I just read the last part of your post Edited August 30, 2020 by Radioactive

Pretty cool but... Something is happening between the disconnector, and the front of the trigger/hammer interface. When you hold it to the rear after firing, the disconnector is holding onto the hammer. When you release, and here that "click" (normally) - that's the disconnector letting go of the hammer, and the hammer getting caught by the front of the trigger. That's not happening, and it's releasing the hammer again. That's where to look - front of the trigger "bar", for lack of a better word, where it engages that notch in the base of the hammer. Radioactive
Some are paying big money for the binary action.

Like I said, cant reproduce in the frame or a jig. Even trying to push/pull up/down on the on the disconnector or front of the trigger bar. Next test 1 round no mag, fire, open while holding trigger. (First thought of 2 rounds fire one, open while holding trigger back, uhh, what could possibly go wrong with that)
