So a while ago I joined http://www.silencerforum.com. They have been plagued with spam lately. Major Malfunction hasnt posted in ages. I go to visit the site today and Im greeted by the following message.

You have been banned for the following reason:

No reason was specified.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

Go figure.

Can anyone recomend an alternative forum?

Hmmm... considering the amount of money you've passed his way, I think a phonecall would be in order.  Straighten out some of the people running the site in his absence.

Nah not worth it. The lack of action on the spam was growing old and I think chasing members away. I feel bad for the guy who was deleting it all. It was crazy.

Funny thing was I offered up some advice in a post. I forget to mention I was mostly a lurker. Had maybe 10 posts.

I noticed MM has a lot less cans on his site. I wonder what's going on.

Silencertalk.com is a decent forum, I'm on there as the same moniker, but haven't checked in in a very long time.

Along these lines, I was banned from a 6.8-based forum, but they never told me why my posts got me banned.
