Exxpugno
I have an AR308 I built during Obama, and it’s been perfect (after testing and tweaking). DPMS compatible parts w Aero upper/lower. Lantec carrier. When I went looking for a backup bolt, I tried several and found some worked better than others. One however, ALWAYS produces stovepipes. I’ve tried mult extractors, extractor springs, donuts, inserts, ejectors & ejector spring. Same ejector and extractor on different bolt work perfectly. But that one bolt never seems to work. And I don’t remember the brand. I’ve attached pics; currently stripping it and trashing. So has anyone ever had a bolt that just never worked well? shooterrex
I had a problem like yours. Changed the ejector to this one. Note the rounded face not squared off. https://www.kakindustry.com/kak-bcg-ejector-
Exxpugno
I have tried mult ejectors, flat and rounded. Just this one bolt (brand new) never worked well. I recently tried the KAK dual-ejector bolt and it also works perfectly. Digging it; looking forward to trying it in a match.
Exxpugno
You know, I just checked the bag of parts I have tried and the ejectors were flat or had a chamfered edge. None like your link. I’ll try yet another ejector before I trash the bolt. Thanks for the input.
shooterrex
The KAK dual ejector bolt should have the rounded ejectors. Swipe one out of it and try it. Just a thought before you order one.

unforgiven
My bolt problem FTE was brass shaving sized up the ejector. Cleaned new ejector and spring. While there cleaned the extractor used rubber doughnut with small rubber piece and new extractor. Why not small cost.
