AIMd44
Hi everyone, I apologize if this has been asked before. I'm brand new to the community and new to building my own AR10. I have an 80 percent lower that my father in law machined out using a jig, so it's ready to go. But Palmetto State Armory is saying that their kits aren't compatible with 80percentarms lower receivers. I dont fully believe them, because I know someone who has built an AR10 using a lower from 80percentarms and a kit from Palmetto. So that's my question. Has anyone else done this? Like I said, I'm new to all of this so I don't know a whole lot. My budget isnt huge, and Palmetto is the only place I can find that has AR10 kits in stock. I'm also not.... knowledgeable enough to build my own AR10 from different parts purchased from different websites, even if I could find them in stock, so a kit works better for me. shooterrex
Palmetto's uppers generally only fit their lowers. Can you modify one or the other to make it work? Probably. Check out Bear Creek arsenal. They have uppers that have fit DPMS pattern lowers for me.

Sounds like you have a working example to run off of, get a close look then order up the parts.
