shooterrex
Bought a Thor Lt Thermal scope. Focus is a little picky. Not at all like regular nite vision. Got it sighted in at 35 yds on a 5.55. Only 3x6 power but it should do yotes around here. Was able to sight it in by just using a sharpie on a cardboard box. I am looking into the Thor LT currently so an actual review I can trust is always helpful. If possible , just for comparison of their multiple options, which model of Thor LT is yours? Thanks for any information you can supply.
shooterrex
I had it at the fall shoot. My scope isn't a long distance scope. Total darkness we could see features of the landscape and targets to 100 yds. This was nothing with a pulse or actual heat signature. There was nothing downrange with an actual heat signature to see. I have watched rabbits and raccoons here on the farm at over 100 yds. Shot yotes at about 100 yds. I can see the cows at 200 yds and can tell what they are. About like 1st gen nite vision without the IR flashlight. For what I need it's fine. This is the bottom of the line model. I'm sure the levels above mine give better definition but I'm happy with what I have.
Desert dweller
Thank you for the feedback. I am looking at it for my property up in Washington that has a coyote problem and they know we have chickens. 100 yards would easily cover what I need. My woods get a little thick after that anyway.
