Welcome from the midwest and thank you for your service USMC.I have been looking at alot of med kits and the methods of employing such kits for a while.I am not an EMT wife is a critical care nurse and I have pick her brain on GSW repair.Have read about using diapers and tampons for controlling bleeding.Know my A..airway  B..breathing  C..circulation.If you need and airway tube unless you know how to insert your kinda fucked anyway.Narc C.A.T. yea its about controlling bleeding applying pressure to wound directly or pressure on artery. Then seek help.If end of days or zombies well we got bigger fish to fry.I read that celox was better than Quik-clot didn't damage tissue as much. The Israeli bandage [even the IFAK is good] and even some Saran warp with tape [duct] on 3 side for sucking chest wound works.Bettadine as oppose to hydrogen peroxide [doesn't damage tissue] .Bleeding to a certain extent, broken bones, burns, something in eye if you can remove without causing more damage can be field repairable. If you are a medic then you have better than average skills.A lay person like myself would be better off controlling the emergic situation and getting you to help within that golden hour. That is no doubt a great kit,but like any tool kit you need to know HOW to use the tools without causing further damage.IMO Respectfully Rene
