Complete Uppers and Lowers From the Same Maker

I have read through a lot of the "What You Need To Know" section but I am still unclear on something.

There is a lot of discussion on using parts from different companies.  But if I use a complete lower, complete upper, bolt carrier group, and charging handle all from the same company, can I trust that it will all work together properly?  For example, I have read some discussions about some folks having to procure different buffers or springs to get a rifle working.  But that seems to happen mostly with components sourced from a variety of different manufacturers.  Are there cases where even with all the parts from the same maker, it still has issues?  And I am talking about cases outside of PSA, which seem to belong in a completely separate category from what I have read on this forum.  Thanks in advance for the help and advice everyone.

It works best when the uppers and lowers are from the same manufacturer. That way they actually fit each other.

Your buffer needs to be in the 5 1/2 oz range. The rifle buffers are that weight. The carbine buffer not so much unless you hunt for them. Many places try and use AR15 buffers.

Thanks for the info!  Kind of a bummer that even a complete lower built for .308 chambering can have buffers that not the correct weight.  You would think that whatever costs they are trying to save is not worth the angry customers.

You would think, but you would be incorrect...
