BigNate
Whelp... after all that analysis... I ALMOST broke down and bought an MOA version of the Zeiss mentioned above (the one with 46.5 mil of internal adjustment) - it is a discontinued model and I found one at a local store deeply discounted as a result... If it had been MIL I would have bought it... but I kept hearing a voice in the back of my head threatening to disown me... A few days later I was at a local shop and priced some things and the price I got back from from him on the NF ATACR 7-35 F1 MIL-XT was well below what I expected - so I pulled the trigger... It should be here in Friday or Monday. I've got to get it mounted up loosely in an existing mount, confirm that the 1.5" mount will work, then go get a quality mount for it... HAHA! We wouldn't DISOWN ya, brother. We all speak Mils... However, for this much distance, we'd just refuse to convert 700 MOA for ya, just to make our Mils make kinda sense - and instead, just leave you on your own... Nah, not that severe. Carry a solar pocket calculator (because your phone battery WILL eventually die...), and when we tell you Mils, multiply that by 3.4377, and there's your MOAs you need... NF1E
The Night Force Competition 15-55 x 52 might be worth looking at and the Leupold MK-5 can get the job done, both nice clear optics and have been holding up well in the 6.5 Creedmoor on my rifles. Been trying out some of the Sightron offerings lately with good service. Whatta Hobby@

I had looked at the Leupold Mk5 but have some old anti-Leupold bias (long time ago stuff) that I couldn't get over (I probably should). The group I shoot with all speak MIL so the NF Competition is out as it appears to be MOA only... I have ordered the NF ATACR 7-35 F1 MIL-XT. I'll look at the Sightron stuff down stream. I assume that you shoot F-class or something similar?
NF1E
Something similar. I have access to a 1200 yd range when I get the urge but the range, in my yard, is only 300 yd and I seldom shoot past 200. I use MR-34C targets often at 100 and enjoy the halibut. Makes retrieving target a whole lot more fun. Whatta Hobby!
