Pappy1600 Posted August 14, 2012 Report Share Posted August 14, 2012 Any of you guys load with Varget? just did a caliber conversion on my press and looking for some loads to try out, I have LC brass CCI34 primers, a poop load of 147 fmj pulldowns and just ordered some Hornady A max 168 gr and Hornady SST 165 gr. Pappy1600 Posted August 16, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 16, 2012 Thanks, loaded up some rounds and went to the range today, 147gr pull downs, LC brass 43.5 gr of Varget, results are posted in the Colt section, just had some 168gr Hornady A-Max come in today along with Hornady 165gr SST, need to work a load up for them. 392heminut Posted August 17, 2012 Report Share Posted August 17, 2012 I loaded some 147 gr. pulldowns with 45 grs. of Varget in WC mil. brass.
