Recommended tools for repairing and maintaining LR308

I'm looking for a list of tools to have on hand for repairing and maintaining my LR308. I have the basic tools just looking for a list of specialized tools now. Thanks.

Come on guys. I know quite a few of you do you own builds. I aint the only on who would like just a simple no frills list to know what to have on hand.

Get the DPMS receiver claw right off the bat, upper and lower. When you work on stuff, have it fixed securely, makes your job 10x easier. Roll pin punches are useful, get yourself a nice set of allen wrenches in a folding style tool. After that, go with whatever tools might be specific to your rifle.

PRI Barrel Nut Wrench is a solid unit to have in the tool box.

Got the upper and lower vise blocks on order. I've got the tools for the ar-15 platform but need to have the 308 ar specific tools.

Tools I've got:

Wheeler ar tool ( like the dpms armorers tool)

Have a extractor tool coming

Punches ( brass, roll, and regular)

Screwdriver kit

Hammers

Swiss files

Torque wrench

Front sight block (brownells)

Would it be a good idea to have a set of go / no go gauges being I have a spare bolt?

Yes.  Get the gauges. The chance of you ever finding a headspace issue is slim, but those are not odds I would want to play.  Cheap face insurance.

Thanks. I'll get the gauges on order next month. Is a field gauge needed or just the go / no go gauges?

I only have the Go/No-Go.  I know some people recommend having all three.  I am guessing you will be building from scratch so Go/No-Go will meet all your needs.

Already bought a DPMS AP4 just getting the tools together to fix anything that comes along. I like being prepared. Thanks for all the info so far.
