Colfax Tactical Posted July 24, 2010 Report Posted July 24, 2010 Hi AllI have been looking for plans (CAD, blueprint, anything...) for building a DPMS style 308 lower. Might any of you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!Larryhttp://www.colfaxtactical.com
imschur Posted July 24, 2010 Report Posted July 24, 2010 I have never seen anything. It would be an awesome find though.
draco41 Posted July 25, 2010 Report Posted July 25, 2010 I have searched high and low for plans for a long time now, No joy so far. All I have found were for the AR10, which are different from the LR-308. Tell me, Are you looking to build from scratch or finish an 80% lower?
Colfax Tactical Posted July 25, 2010 Author Report Posted July 25, 2010 Hi Draco41Actually, I would like to produce 80% lowers in a 308 and offer them with our AR15 80% lowers. It looks like I need to buy a few to spec them out. I want to offer them in the DPMS style.I am glad that I found this site.Larry MyersColfax Tacticalhttp://www.colfaxtactical.com
98Z5V Posted July 27, 2010 Report Posted July 27, 2010 Larry, I've got the blueprints and lower plans for an AR-10. FCG pocket will be the same as DPMS-patterned .308s, and if you're starting with 80% lowers anyway, the magwell will already be completed on all of them. No need to mill the magwell on them, be it AR-10 pattern or DPMS-type pattern. Two .zip files are attached to this post, but I can't attach the executable file for the CNC machine cutting program. I can email that to you if you need/want it. Send me a PM with your email address if you want that one. <thumbsup>802_.zip803_.zip
Colfax Tactical Posted July 27, 2010 Author Report Posted July 27, 2010 Hi Global ModeratorThanks for your reply. You said"Larry, I've got the blueprints and lower plans for an AR-10. I do have the CAD plans for the AR10 lower but no plans for the DPMS style. I just need to figure out the differences. Thanks again!Larry
CNCGUY Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 I got lower prints off a site called rifleconnection.com for ten bucks, well worth it, its the first DPMS 308 blueprint ive seen.
