Like... a really long Ruger rotary mag?  I wonder if that could work...  Kinda like multiple tubes that would just feed a new round into the end of the mag which would then rotate the next round over.  Million dollar idea?  ;)

There is a system already on a shotgun, 4-four-round magazines-in-one.

It looks unwieldly.

But 6x9=54 rounds of .357 Magnum, ready to go...hhmmm.
