amullinax Posted January 18, 2013 Report Share Posted January 18, 2013 Guys.. I just picked up a POF P308 and am looking to see if anyone knows the standard barrel twist that is used for this gun. For some reason I cannot find it in the documentation which I would think is important for long range shooting. I was looking at Berger ammo and some of the rounds suggest a 1 and 13" twist or better.. does this matter? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Matt.Cross Posted January 18, 2013 Report Share Posted January 18, 2013 I don't think you'll have to worry about it, so far the standard twists I've seen for large ARs is 11.25, 11, and 10. I think there are some 12s floating around in some of the less known AR barrel makers, but the three I mentioned are the ones I see most commonly.
